„Die Gegenwart ist das Ergebnis vergangenen Denkens!“
Ganz philosophisch zwischen Quantenphysik und Neurologie entwickelte sich der Bandname der dreiköpfigen Combo aus Niedersachsen und lässt sich gewiss nicht mit einer schnöden Übersetzung als „der letzte Piepton“ dem Tinitus gleichsetzen.

So verbinden Ray, Adam’s Sky und Mic-L seit 2008 bewusst den „Bleep-Effekt“ mit ihrer musikalischen Einstellung – zu Recht, denn wo ein Ton ist, ist auch ein Echo und wenn das Leben der Ton sein mag, dann ist hier das Echo von „Ultima Bleep“, nicht alles darin so ernst zu nehmen.
Vielleicht hängt auch das kennen Lernen der drei Herren von eben jenen Bleep-Effekt ab, denn Zufälle gibt es ja bekanntlich nicht. So kam es, dass Ray mit seiner damaligen Synthi-Pop-Band „Ton Sur Ton“ im Hildesheimer Tonstudio „Subterrasound“ eine CD aufnehmen wollte, welche von niemand anderem als Sänger und Texter Mic-L produziert werden sollte. Jedoch entschloss sich zu diesem Zeitpunkt der Sänger von „Ton Sur Ton“ die Band zu verlassen und ließ Ray mit den Song-Rohkonstrukten zurück.
Gleichzeitig entschloss sich Adam’s Sky zu der Wiederaufnahme seiner musikalischen Aktivitäten. Wie bereits in den 80’er Jahren, versuchte er mit Hilfe der nun allerdings weit fortgeschrittenen Technik, Songs im hauseigenen Tonstudio zu komponieren und zu produzieren. Eine Rechnung die er ohne die Technologie gemacht hatte, denn er sah sich von all den Neuerungen erstmals gänzlich erschlagen. So lernte er über ein anderes Projekt den Tontechniker und Produzenten Mic-L kennen, der ihm nicht nur die Zähmung der wilden Elektronikbestie lehrte, sondern ihn auch gleichzeitig auf den neusten Stand der Technik brachte.
Als gäbe es nicht genug „Bleep“ in diesem seltsamen Konstrukt der Begegnungen, bot Mic-L an, Ray in seinem musikalischen Vorhaben als Sänger und Texter zu unterstützen. Im Frühjahr 2007 beschlossen sie zusammen mit Adam’s Sky eine Band unter dem Arbeitstitel „Netz:Werk:Liebe“ ins Leben zu rufen. Auch wenn eine Vielzahl der Songs unter „Ton Sur Ton“ entstanden sind, hat jedoch jeder aus seinem melodischen Fundus etwas beigesteuert um die musikalische Bandbreite niemals langweilig erscheinen zu lassen.
Nun fehlte dem Ganzen nur noch die passende und stimmige Lyrik, um die sich jedoch Mic-L zu kümmern wusste. So füllte er mit Text und seiner unverbrauchten Stimme die Klänge, während Ray und Adam’s Sky an den Keyboards die instrumentale Aufgabe übernahmen die entsprechenden Spuren und Loops für die Melodien und Klangfarben zu verfeinern.
Aber um auch Mic-L in seiner Aufgabe nicht ganz allein zu lassen, holten sie für einige Stücke die Gastsängerin Dani Larme d’un Rêve von der befreundeten Band „Herbstschmerz“ mit ins Team. Das Ergebnis kann sich durchaus hören lassen! Frischer und bekömmlicher Synthi-Pop mit dem alten, scheinbar vergessenen Touch der 80’er Jahre.
Das Indie-Label Major Records erkannte und bestätigte recht früh das große Potential des Trios und nahm sie im Januar 2008 unter Vertrag. Prompt nahm auch die conzoom Gbr, welche die „elektrisch! – Sampler“ bei Major Records produzieren, den Clubmix von dem Song Back mit in die Tracklist der 3. Compilation auf, welche ab dem 7. März 2008 im Handel erhältlich war. Mit diesem raschen Fahrtwind, allein von ihrer Gründung bis hin zum Plattenvertrag und dem wohlgesonnenen „Bleep“ des Universums, wird sie so schnell nichts bremsen.
Man kann sicher sein, der Namen „Ultima Bleep“ wird im Laufe des Jahres noch sehr oft fallen.
ULTIMA BLEEP 2008

Sheer philosophically, between quantum physics and neurology, developed the name of this “three men combo”, whose members come from Lower Saxony, Germany, and can by no means be put on the same level with the disdainful translation of “ultima bleep”, the tinnitus.
“Your life’s happiness depends on the character of your thoughts!”
Now Ray, Adam’s Sky and Mic-L intentionally combine this “bleep effect” with their attitude towards music – and justifiably so, because where there is sound, there is an echo and when life may be the sound, the echo of “Ultima Bleep” should be “do not take everything seriously!”
As there are generally no coincidences, may be it was this bleep effect that brought the three gentlemen together. The history is that Ray and his former Synth-Pop band „Ton Sur Ton“ intended to produce a CD in the Hildesheim recording studio “Subterrasound”, producer of which should be the one and only singer and songwriter Mic-L. However, just at this time, the singer of the band “Ton Sur Ton” decided to quit and left Ray ‘standing in the rain’ with the skeletons of the songs.
It was just this moment, when Adam’s Sky decided to resume a dream he had in his youth. As he did already in the late 80s, he again started, now however with a very advanced technique, to compose and produce songs in his home tone studio. However, not taking into account the advanced technology where all the innovations in this field overwhelmed him.
Through another project, he came to know the tone technician and producer Mic-L, who not only taught him how to domesticate the wild beast named ‘electronics’, but at the same time made him catch-up with the latest technology.
As if it wasn’t enough encounter in this strange construction, Mic-L offered to support Ray in his musical project as a singer and writer of the lyrics. In spring 2007 the two joined together with Adam’s Sky and formed a band under the working title “Netz:Werk:Liebe”. Although many of the songs had been composed by „Ton sur Ton“, each of the three had contributed something from their private melodic pool so that the scope of music they produce never seems to be dreary.
The only thing that was missing now, was the right and harmonious lyric which was Mic-L’s business. So he presented the vocals with his unspent and harmonius voice while Ray and Adam’s Sky at the keyboards took over the instrumental task to improve the corresponding grooves and loops for the melody.
Moreover, not to leave Mic-L all alone with his job, they asked Dani Larme d’un Rêve of the band “Herbstschmerz”, to join their team as a guest singer for some tracks.
The result is absolutely worth hearing! Fresh digestible synth-pop, with this popular old and nearly forgotten touch of the 80’s. The Indie-label Major Records recognized very early the great potential of the trio and had them sign a contract in January 2008. Immediately “conzoom gbr” who produce the electric sampler at Major Records, took the clubmix of the song “back” to their track list of the 3rd compilation, commercially available from 7th March 2008.
Surfing in such strong winds, beginning with their formation up to the record contract and the lucky Bleep of the universe, nothing can stop them now.
One may rest assured that the name “Ultima Bleep” is still becoming more and more popular in the course of this year.
